Laura Tobin

Laura is a current PhD researcher based in IMR Mullingar, studying the effect and perception of light and colour in AR / VR headsets. Laura has a background in experimental physics and optical engineering, which has led to work on diverse projects such as biomimetic solar cells, photokinetic electron transfer of dyes, biotherapy light masks for horses, and LED lighting and devices. Laura is also an established science communicator who has collaborated with a number of organisations both nationally and internationally
