The IDRC and SMARTlab are delighted to share the news that our own Brandon Blacoe (PhD candidate, Thematic PhD in Inclusive Design and Creative Technology Innovation, supervised by Professor Lizbeth Goodman) has achieved mainstream success with release of his novel Byowave Proteus Controller through Microsoft! The Proteus is already installed in a new gamelab at the An Saol Charity for severe acquired brain injury in Dublin and is also being installed at three linked IDRC-SMARTlab testing sites with diverse user groups in Galway, Philadelphia (The Centre of Autism at TJU) and at the Shrub Oak International School in New York, where living lab testing will be conducted.

Go Byowave/Go Brandon!
